Notes and considerations:

There are no doggie bags at this park, please bring your own. There is a trash can for disposal located toward the playground area. There are trees for shade, but bring water for your pet. -
Legere Park is the ideal park for family dog owners. The park has a large field for playing fetch, frisbee and to just run around in with the kids. Part of the park is fenced off from Waterman Drive and from E Street making it more contained. It is not fenced off all the way around, so be careful of traffic!

There is a basketball half-court as well as a full playground with slides and swings for children.

This park is ideal for the dog who loves to play fetch for a ball or a frisbee. It is a good place for owners who have limited mobility who need to exercise their dog as it is primarily flat and mowed grass. There are also benches to rest on and chat with neighbors.
