Membership matters. The members of the South Portland Dog Owners Group were the backbone of the SHARE Willard Beach Campaign that prevented the proposed Willard Beach dog ban in the fall of 2009. To keep SoPoDOG a viable group we need your membership and financial support. If there were ever a time to join, that time is now. We never want to face another referendum like the one we defeated this year. Your membership can help improve the image of dog owners in the city of South Portland, provide educational programming and community events and help keep access for people with their dogs in our parks and shared spaces.
