Dog Licensing Update
More information re: 2008 Dog Licenses-
Dog Licenses at the City Clerk’s office in City Hall cost $6.00 for altered dogs and $11.00 for unaltered dogs. To renew online at www.southportland.org it costs a dollar more, $7.00 and $12.00 (this covers the cost for writing the software and making it available to the public).
There will no longer be stickers for your dog’s tags. Instead there will be metal tag replacements each year. These metal tags will be a different color each year to make it easier for Animal Control Officers to check the tags from a distance.
Residents who renew on-line will receive their new color coded tag in the mail after they renew.
Remember to bring your rabies certificate and spay/neuter certificate when getting your license.
